On September 21, 2020, the President’s Council approved revisions to the renamed Research Misconduct Policy. The revised policy has now been published and is found here (with a BYU sign in): The revisions align policy with current federal regulations and notify university personnel of the process that will be followed when BYU receives allegations of research misconduct.

In summer 2020, the ORCA office underwent restructuring and renaming. It is now called the Research Administration Office (RAO) and Jason Jay was appointed as the new Associate Director for Research Compliance over IACUC and IBC. This change will provide extra administrative support for both compliance committees and allows for future expansion and growth. Keep those animal use applications coming...we are ready for them!
